Update: Change at work

I'm not prevalent to commute this week. I have this Friday off, but my company will be expose. What I am going to do is ride down to my building go up to the locker extent/shower. Take a shower & go into my office. This is to see how long this will in fact take me. Then I will just get ready to ride again & leave.

I start occupation at 8 am. I live about 4 miles from work. I will also be hauling more items when I commute as well, content a heavier load then I used to. Yes it is 4 easy miles but more load does often mean a slower pace. Doing this study ride will also make sure I have the saddle bags replete with even weight on each side so my bike handles like I need it to.

The structure I work in has 6 floors. I work on the 4th & the locker/flood room is on the 5th floor.

I am also one of those people who have to have it planned down to the record when I commute. I do allow for additional time for the unidentified & unpredictable that may happen.

For example here is what is involved with my complete commute, this is the day of:
1. Wake up.
2. Use bathroom.
3. Brush teeth.
4. Put on bike cloths.
5. Eat breakfast.
6. Air up tires, give the impression of run off sure they are true.
7. Get Camel Bak bladder out of fridge, (where it is always stored filled with wet), put in pack strapped to back of seat.
8. Attach day bag over Camel Bak, making steadfast MP3 player is on as well as speakers.
9. Clean glasses.
10. Put bike shoes on.
11. Put Slave away Gutr band on & Croakies eye glasses retainer.
12. Put gloves & helmet on.
13. Billow bike out of back door.
14. Lock back door.
15. Roll bike to patio stairs, pick bike up trudge down stairs to driveway.
16. Roll to end of flat part of driveway & intimidate bike up against retaining wall.
17. Take off cleat covers.
18. Get on bike, scrap Camel Bak Tube & volume control for speakers to bike shirt or jersey.
19. Snip in left foot.
20. Coast down driveway...
