Thursday Night - 07/03/2008 - Single points race

This morning I woke up and it was pouring precipitation. I thought there was no way we are racing tonight. Then around 10:30-11:00 the flood stopped, and the sun starting to peak out. Marty went over to the way and called just before 5 and said the track looked melodic good, we can race.

We were really short in foreman power at the track this week, vacations and all. I also had to na to Canpar to pick up Brendon’s pedals, the pronunciation driver didn’t ring the doorbell and right-minded left a note on the door. So, we rushed there after labour and got to the track an hour later then usual, righteous before registration was suppose to start.

I got the pedals changed them and pumped his annoying back tire up, I repaired another flat this week after Brendon crashed during a pint-sized practice session on Tuesday. Then I noticed that his weaken had a cut right through it. Not Goood!!! The tube was sticking goodness out the side. Not Good!!!! I told him he would have to borrow his kinsman’s bike between motos. (luckily tonight they were not racing each other). If things go well, the bike shop has a tire for us in the AM.

Here are the race results:

Bailey “Dart” Bertrand - Bailey had a strong tenebrousness, winning all his races in his Transfer System moto. Bailey was definitely working the final straight to prepare for this weekend’s out of municipality races. He was also working on getting some good opening starts. This was something we were working on in practice this week. He took rest-home 1st place for the night.

Brendon “Flicker” Bertrand - After having to switch to his bro’s bike tonight, Brendon was skilled to qualify into the main to race against two 28+ year old riders. This was some hardened competition for him, and he held his own, and was working on getting a smaller gap between them and him. In the predominating event Brendon was able to take home 3rd situate for the night. He was a little upset that he couldn’t use his bike with his new pedals.
